Super Snapshot Saturday

>> Saturday, November 21, 2009

it's time for super snapshot saturday, hosted by angel. this week the theme is our choice.

digital cameras became household items right around the time bethany was born. because of that i have very few pictures of kelley and bethany from their early days on the computer. thank goodness that they each have a photo album packed full of pictures from their baby days. looking through the photos i do have on the computer are a couple of portraits so i'll share those.

gosh how i miss those days with sweet little babies. they are so grown up now!

here's kelley at 9 months old...

and bethany at about 3 months old...

be sure to stop by angel's blog to check out other super snapshots and maybe join in and post your own!

p.s. i realized after the fact that i broke a rule. *blush* it's supposed to be photos taken by me. next week i'll get it straight!

Super Snapshot Saturday errr Sunday!

>> Sunday, November 15, 2009

yesterday i missed Angel's Super Snapshot Saturday. this week her theme was funny. a lot of our funnier pictures have been shared already, so i had to look back at some oldies. to check out other funny pictures or to join in click the button below!

here's a cute, innocent bathtime photo of bethany that i took. but look closely...notice her ears? it appears that a baby alligator is crawling through her head. thanks a lot daddy. (i think it is funny, but at the time bethany did NOT. not sure what she'll say now-it's been a few years).

and this is what happens when you keep a puggy princess up too late past her bedtime. daisy is looking pretty rough, but it sure makes me giggle! also daisy is not a morning pug. she sleeps in late. i guess she needs her beauty rest!

silly bunny girls...look at how little they are! (notice bethany's haircut? i can only say that it didn't happen on my watch, ahem)

kelley and me celebrating our birthdays 6th and 31st i think.

bethany the birthday princess.

kelley holding a baby gator.

bethany showing off her new earrings.

one of a very few "family" shots.

beautiful flower shot created by my friend cindy.

sweet sisters, the BFF's i want them to be.

mr. h looking dangerous.

my "first" haircut after cancer.

mammie, kelley and bethany riding the teacups at disney world.

bethany doing what she does best-making us laugh.

Super Snapshot Saturday (oops a day late!)

>> Sunday, November 1, 2009

my bloggy friend angel hosts this blog carnival every saturday. be sure to check out her blog for more super snapshots!

this theme was holidays. yesterday was a holiday which is why i'm a day late. instead of sharing those pictures now, i thought it would be a great time to share some of my favorites from Christmas over the years. can you believe it's time to start thinking Christmas? i've already started shopping!

i would love to scan all of our pictures with santa, but not because they are great pictures...it's because they are not great pictures! our santa pictures never fail to bring a laugh because of kelley and bethany and their expressions. i've wondered if they save these special expressions over the year especially for santa? here is their first picture with santa and it is the most normal of them all. bethany is obviously not happy, but the tears in her eyes are kind of sweet.

this winter wonderland is my favorite holiday picture of all time! my friend cindy helped create this for our Christmas cards a few years ago. she really brought magic to a picture that was originally taken on a hot and sunny afternoon in florida!
