Beautiful perfection...

>> Thursday, July 29, 2010

My heart feels led to share this with as many as I can, so I picked all of you since you are special to me.

I met Heather in my mom's group. She recently lost her little boy Carter. But he fought long and hard and touched many. He will continue to do so. Heather has been amazing throughout Carter's life and journey to Heaven, her grace is just beautiful.

I know that she would love for everyone to know Carter. So I wanted to share this with you. It's a picture of Carter's new headstone. It is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful and perfect. The hand and feet imprints were taken on the day he went to Heaven (it was planned after being on life support). Please click on this link to see Carter's new headstone *here*. Please do this, it is hard I know. You won't be disappointed. And if you would like, spend some time reading their story.

Thank you! And a reminder to hug your loved ones so very tight...never miss an opportunity to tell them how much you love them.

Heaven's new angel...

>> Monday, May 31, 2010

Today Carter went home to Heaven.

Every parent's biggest fear.

Carter's mommy and daddy are going through it.

I want to be able to reach through the screen and hug them.

Tell them what great parents they are and that Carter made the perfect choice when he chose them.

To express how amazed I am at the level of grace they have carried throughout everything.

And to thank them for sharing their sweet Carter with all of us.

Carter...

>> Saturday, May 29, 2010

I am at a loss for words having read the newest update on Carter. I can't imagine how Carter's mommy and daddy are feeling right now, how heavy life decisions are weighing on their hearts. The specialists have told them that there is a very little chance that any medical or surgical intervention could help Carter.

They have all been through so much. Carter has met challenges and fought so hard. He's such a little guy but his fight has been so strong. He has been through more than any child should have to experience.

Carter's parents have been through more than any parents should have to experience as well. It's heartbreaking to even fathom the decisions they will have to make for their baby boy. Carter has suffered too much and they don't want him to suffer anymore. They have decided to put this all in God's hands on Sunday.

My heart is so heavy for them. But my prayers will continue...prayers for peace, prayers for a miracle.

Please pray for Carter and his family, too.
