celebrity sightings!

recently i took part in a conversation about celebrity sightings i've had. and i can't believe i forgot one, probably the most popular one, and definitely the sweetest of the stories! since i left out such an important detail i figured this would make for some good blog fodder!

so i'll start from the beginning and don't worry i don't have many to share...

during my middle school and early high school years, i attended school with jackie titone. she even sat behind me in pre-algebra class. you may not recognize the name, but adam sandler does-that's his wife!

during a vacation to check out colleges in connecticut with my mom, we heard that al gore was going to be in town. this was back when he was campaigning for the 1992 election so we decided to go check it out. and sure enough we saw al gore.

seems to be that traveling with my mom brings out all of the celebrities. i am absolutely certain that we passed by melina kanakaredes in the airport. she's been on many shows, but i actually watched her on guiding light back in the day. i was too stunned to stop and ask for an autograph. but i am sure it was her and i remember she was very, very tall.

while going through college i worked at a preschool and sometimes would baby sit for the little kids. one of those kids is now building up his resume! creagan dow-he's been on zoey 101 and hannah montana, was a voice for ant bully and has had some parts in various tv shows and movies.

and then there is the one i can't believe i forgot...

while working at an unnamed nursing home, an unnamed patient was part of james brown's road crew. yes the james brown, "the godfather of soul"! he has since passed away. but i have to tell you that he visited this patient, his friend and former worker just about every, single week! i was impressed with his devotion! and surprised that he was very short!
