fellow mommies, i need your wisdom.

but first, i have found a little parenting tip that works-it really does! and i want to share it with you. i came up with it all on my own and if i may gloat just a's pure genius! =)

ya ready?

"because i said so!"

that's it! try it, i think the possibilities may be endless. my little darlings do not have a come back for it...yet.

ok, now my problem? i have a "tween". ok i'm not quite sure what a tween is. the daughter in question is 9 1/2.

we are fairly certain that puberty may be starting to rear it's uglies in the form of moodiness. and to be honest, i am moody. very moody. perhaps the most moody person i've ever met. until now. i know how truly miserable it is to be the moody one. but my goodness, it's pretty darn bad being on the receiving end. (sorry to all of you who have been on the receiving end from me. oops!) do we ease this? what can we do? what should we not do? and be honest-this is just the beginning isn't it? i'm afraid that it is going to get worse, much worse. and, and, and...some day soon we will have TWO of them at this point. eek!

i'm skeered! please help!

Um.....I think, quite possibly, we are going through this together. We are in mood hell....and what is the worst, is when I see her acting LIKE me...omg.

No help here either. We have UMS at my house too (ugly mood swings). Mine dd will be 10 tomorrow and it's like a roller coaster ride with her. You never know. She is all over the map. I think it's just something we are going to have to deal with. :)
