we have an old empty hotel at the entrance to our neighborhood. the hotel is a historical landmark. from time to time someone buys it and tries to renovate it but they fail each and every time. so for now it's fenced in, abandoned and there is a police car sitting in the lot, i guess to keep trespassers away.
it's also rumored to be haunted.
this morning's conversation...
bethany: daddy do you know about the hauntings at the old hotel?
daddy: there's no such thing as hauntings.
bethany: well kelley says there is a woman locked in the tower wearing a wedding dress and she's covered in blood.
kelley: hee hee hee hee.
daddy: there is no woman in the hotel, no hauntings.
bethany: well kelley says that a COP went into the hotel and he NEVER came out. THAT'S why his car is STILL sitting there.
kelley: hee hee hee hee.
